HI! My name is Alex Simpson, an aspiring programmer and game developer from west Yorkshire, England.
I have always had a passion for computers and the wonders that can be created with them! in 2022 I graduated a master's in advanced computer science at the university of Leeds.
during my studies I learnt a wide variety of skills including programming languages, software environments, principles of development, and computational theory.
I have a special interest in the fields of game development, artificial intelligence, and scientific simulation.
I am 23 years old, and when I'm not sat behind a keyboard I enjoy playing guitar, cooking, and football.
I have taught myself how to play guitar and particularly like playing classic and indie rock music! my favourite artists are probably arctic monkeys, foals, and Radiohead.
I also love cooking, especially when I am learning a new recipe or something I haven't tried before!
my favourite sport to watch and play is football, however I am always keen to have a bash at new sports. I have a strong competitive streak but I support Middlesbrough fc so trust me, I know how to take a loss!
